How to Soothe A Newborn Naturally
As parents, life gets busy, to put it mildly.
 
It can also get stressful and difficult, it's part of the "job" after all.
 
As parents ourselves, we understand the difficulties.
 
However, we are always on the lookout for ways that we can manage the stressful times being a parent while also growing even closer to our little ones.
 
Here are five simple tips we've tried that you can also try in your baby care routine:
 
  1. 🌼 Warm Baths Before Sleep - You may feel exhausted by the end of the day, but giving your baby a warm bath before bed every night can calm them down baby, preparing to cuddle and sleep faster.
  2. 🎶 Soft Lullabies or White Noise - Your baby associates soothing sounds or white noise (rain falling, fans, "shhh" sound, etc.) with comfort because it reminds them of being inside the womb. Where it was nice and cozy all of the time! Gentle sounds like soothing lullabies or white noice can lull your baby and ease any discomfort they may have.
  3. 🌻 Skin-to-Skin Contact - Hugging your baby close skin-to-skin can provide comfort and warmth, giving them a sense that they are safe and they can relax. Also try experimenting with different holding positions - vertical, horizontal, or even in a baby carrier (just be sure they have room to breathe).

  5. 👐 Gentle Massages - Lightly rub your baby's back, shoulders or feet to help them relax. Be careful not to apply too much pressure and also spend a few minutes (literally) looking up different tips to keep in mind when trying to help your baby relax via a massage.
